His goal was that I could be in any situation with them and know how to act so I had manners drummed into me. I even got in trouble over poor manners. I tried with my kids (though with a lighter hand). They didn't really exhibit them here at home, but other people always complimented me on their manners and behavior. At least they used manners out in the world, right?

Hope your knee feels better quickly!Stacyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06316595488903619354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9170689483000703643.post-91678645340509943132013-01-23T20:42:22.837-05:002013-01-23T20:42:22.837-05:00That really dates me doesn't it!That really dates me doesn't it!retired not tiredhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12163194064670674682noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9170689483000703643.post-26594646922228730762013-01-23T19:56:48.128-05:002013-01-23T19:56:48.128-05:00I actually had to google ball and stick writing be...I actually had to google ball and stick writing because I had no idea what you were talking about!
