MEET ME ON MONDAY

Welcome to Monday Quiz About Me - hosted by Acting Balanced and Touristic

Here are FOUR QUESTIONS that everyone can answer and then you have the option to add a fifth question of your own for those who are visiting your blog to answer in the comment section, along with commenting on the four standard questions you answered! Grab the badge for your post if you like:

1. June 3rd is National Repeat Day - what word or phrase do you find yourself repeating? I repeat...

Are you ready to play “hand and foot” so that I can beat you?

2. Who do you feel is a real hero?

Mothers and fathers are the real heroes in this day and age.

3. Are you interested in traveling to countries where most people don't speak the same language as you?

We love to travel and I appreciate when I am spoken to in English and I would go anywhere even if they didn’t speak English.

4. It's also dairy month - what is your favourite dairy or dairy-like (for you vegans and allergy sufferers) food or recipe?

I love rice pudding!

My 5th question is:

How do you celebrate your anniversary?

We eat Kentucky Fried Chicken on our anniversary because that's what we ate as our first meal as husband and wife. It's not going to be quite as enjoyable this year, however, because I'm supposed to be avoiding 'fast foods'. Not breaking the tradition after 41 years though! We always take our vacation on the week of our anniversary, too.
Well, if you mean the anniversary of my divorce, I have a BBQ- seems fitting.

At the moment I don't have one to celebrate. When I was married we really didn't do much but go out to dinner.
We usually take a trip for our anniversary. This year we are going to Disney World.

Usually we go out to dinner. Plans for 2014 though is a trip to Disney to celebrate our 25th anniversary, just hubby and me.

We got married the day before Christmas Eve and I'm usually in the home stretch of Christmas baking. We usually go out for a nice dinner, but I have to admit I forgot our first anniversary until he called and asked if I'd be ready for dinner when he got home. Yikes! I went to dinner to celebrate our first anniversary and my ring was in a drawer in the kitchen where I'd put it to keep it from getting dough in it. I have gotten better about remembering now.
