It is day 40 of our 42 day cruise. We have started to think about packing and planning the trip home. It is time to say good-bye and collect phone numbers and e-mails with the intention of keeping in touch. This cruise was exceptional because we actually travelled with people we have cruised with before. It was a wonderful surprise.
New friendships have been forged and hopefully we will travel with them again. The final days have been at sea and have been filled with writer’s club. I am starting to think about writing my memoirs. Of course the knitters club has shown me new ways to sew the sweaters together and we have shared ideas for future projects. Lastly the book club has me reading books I would never have looked at.
The crew on the ship have granted our every wish. They have taken excellent care of us. Wish we could take some of them home with us.
The ship has been full of flowers which they change constantly. Here are some of the arrangements around the ship.
