My rant today is about our government services. To apply for the benefits my father is entitled to I had to fill out reams of paperwork and have told it can take up to 6 months to process. Is everyone dealing with the death of a parent?

Kudos to my grandchildren for getting out in the snow yesterday and helping to shovel it away. They have also requested more slipper socks to be knit when I have time.

No recent victory however hopefully we will have one soon.
