SUNDAY IN THE CITY

Let’s travel the world together!

We are home from our cruise. Glad to be back. There will be more to come in later posts. In the meantime our last port of call was Copenhagen. Every one knows it is famous for the “Little Mermaid” statue. Here it is:

However there is another popular statue nearby which is very popular with young men who like to climb it. The older guys just stand and dream:

I do think the female form inspires great art. I also know as a teen a naked breast had a special appeal for me. I have never been to Copenhagen. I was lucky enough to see Amsterdam and Hamburg. I heard Copenhagen is a very expensive place.

For a moment I thought you were in Vancouver, BC, Canada - they have a Little Mermaid Statue, I believe in Stanley Park. :) Thanks for sharing!
