FRIDAY FRAMENTS & FOUR FILL-IN FUN

Feeling Beachie

I haven’t much to frag about this week. It has been the usual with babysitting the grands on Wednesday and going to visit my parents yesterday. I took my Mom shopping while DH watched my Dad and cleaned up my mother’s computer. The drive itself was full of construction. It took us an extra hour to get home.

We are preparing for our trek south next week. We have decided to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway and hopefully enjoy some fall colours. DH has booked the hotels going down. It looks like our summer will be extended because the temperatures in South Carolina are still very high.

This week I participated in the Tuesday Coffee Chat with Rory Bore. The topic was “collections”. I forgot to mention that we collect air miles as well as points for free hotel stays. If you have time please check out her website http://amothersluv.blogspot.ca/

The other shout out is for a blog I follow on Thursday. It is hosted by Brenda and is called Pondering. She takes words with multiple meanings each week. I've been reading your Friday Four Fill-Ins for a long time, so I decided to participate today. It was fun. I love the Blue Ridge Parkway. It's so beautiful. My parents used to have a summer place just about a mile off the parkway in North Carolina. I sure do miss going there. I hope you have an awesome trip.

Reading your first fragment had me wondering how construction filled up the drive on your mom's computer. After rereading it - I guess the drive was in a car not in a computer.
I'll check out the blog about words - love words they are so useful.

I do like apple pies.

I never was able to knit. I read and watch TV because I am not really interested in TV. Tee Hee.

What a beautiful ride you have ahead of you-- Nothing like the beauty of Fall leaves and blue skies.

Apple pie is a favorite and this is the perfect time of year for the best apples too. Yum.

We've actually been a tad on the coolish side for a few days. It did warm up to the high 70s yesterday and today. And the rain is with us on a daily basis. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday I was actually chilly but it was a damp chilly. At least you won't be seeing the 90s while you're here! At least they better not go back up that high! :)

A roadtrip to enjoy the fall colors sounds wonderful! I was in Utah a few weeks ago and the leaves were just beginning to turn. It's probably full yellows and reds now. I love the fall colors!

I always wished that I could crochet. I used to do crewel work, though. I do love reading; relaxation is one reason. It helps me refocus.

I am not a multi-tasker so though I love to crochet not when I watch TV. But then I don't have a TV so it's not really a problem.
I live in SC and we have had some nice temps but it is going to get warm again this week. Might seem hot to you but warm to us natives.
