FRIDAY FRAGMENTS WITHOUT FOUR FILL IN FUN

 

Half-Past Kissin' Time    

 

Happy Friday everyone! I am so glad this week is coming to an end. Unfortunately it still cold as heck however the forecast is for warmer weather. We were lucky enough to miss most of the snow because of our position on the lake. I feel very bad for our neighbours to the south. Even my daughter-in-law’s parents were caught up in some of the dastardly weather. We are so looking forward to our cruise and the countdown clock says it is only 107 days away.

Have you got your 2015 calendar yet? We have 3 on the go at the moment. The first 4 months are starting to fill up as well as some of our summer weekends. We need to get our theatre tickets soon and must coordinate with our friends for the best times.

Our colds are still lingering. Just when we think we are through with it we cough and sneeze a little and it is back. Are we re-infecting ourselves? I hope not.

Unfortunately there is no fill in fun at this time. Hopefully it will return next week. Have a great weekend everyone!

I can understand the sniffles and coughing. I wish I had a turn-off valve on my nose. It won't stop. I think it's possible to keep "reinfecting" each other. When that happens here, I watch for a sunny day and open a couple windows and get some cold fresh air in the house.
A cruise would be so much fun, especially now.

Ir is interesting that when you have a cold you can fantasize about breathing clear and wonder if you ever will breath free again. I always cough for at least a month after I have had a cold.

Yes, we have our 2015 appointment calendar, hanging on the laundry room/garage door, where you can see it before going out. I must have a calendar!!

Seems to be lots of sniffles and coughs in our area as well, but not any snow. Thankfully! It was very cold last week but today we've almost needed the a/c. Crazy!

Yes, I've had our calendars for a couple of months and already have things to do on them.

Sorry to hear you're feeling under the weather! :( On the bright side, you'll certainly be feeling yourselves by the time your trip comes along!

Today was a nice warm 36 degrees F here; it was a very nice warm-up, perfect for a shopping day (no need for a coat).

I am glad you missed much of that nasty weather!! My folks have the cold, but side stepped the snow. My parents dream of the days when they are also retired and can just spend their time cruising. They did one a few years ago and are hooked!!! I don't blame you on the count down ;-) I hope your health returns quickly!
