THRIVING THURSDAY

This is another wonderful blog coming from our home away from home.  I am not trying to make anyone jealous however this is the only way to live.  D H and I are participating in a few more of the ships activities this week.  We start our day with Tai Chi at 8 am and then an exercise class either Sit and be Fit or aquafit  at 9am.  We then walk about the ship or on the islands we have been visiting.  Today we walked in George Town, Grand Cayman.

It was back to ship for a swim and hot tub and lunch.  There is always ice cream for dessert.

The staff are very pleasant and now have become our adopted children.  Some of the staff want us to be their parents and of course grandparents to their beautiful children  The staff work 11 hour days, 7 days a week with a smile on their faces.  They love jokes and kid around with their co=workers as well as the guests.

No wonder Mama Lou has been on the cruise ships for 16 years. She lives on the ship and has more sea days than the captain (at least with Holland America).  What a way to live!!

if this is retirement I should have done it years ago.

  1. What a life you have! It is good that you are taking full advantage of what the ship has to offer. They make cruises memorable.
