MEET ME ON MONDAY

1. What is your favourite thing about November?

My favourite part of November is anticipating Christmas.

2. What was the last thing that you bought that you regretted soon afterwards?

I have been on a tight budget lately however I would have to say the Halloween candy. We bought too much.

3. What is your go to snack food?

Cookies if they are in the house or ice cream. On my diet it is plain popcorn.

4. Do you believe that newspapers should charge for their online content?

I will not pay to read about the news from a newspaper. I will go out and pick up the free commuter paper. I will miss the comics and I am looking for an alternative.

The price of our newspaper subscription has gone way up plus at least 2 or 3 times a month it just doesn't arrive at all. And apparently it is too much effort for the delivery guy to close the lid on the mailbox. So half the time the paper is drying out on the oven door.

Thankfully, we weren't affected by Sandy here. I think it would be hard to be prepared for something like that.

Every year we have too much candy. This year was the first year we ran out!!
I was prepared for hurricane Sandy as much as I could have been. We had some siding damage, but NOTHING like those poor people who lost everything.

YES I was prepared for Sandy... and then nothing happened! Last year, we got clobbered by Irene and Lee... and before then we've had torrential rains that have flooded my property six times in six years. :( I am so sick of flooding.

My country was not affected by Hurricane Sandy. They showed us the damage that the hurricane had done on the TV news here. I am praying for those who have been affected.

Hello from another cookie/icecream snacker :) Gotta' love 'em.

Hurricane Sandy didn't affect our area, but I try to remain prepared for any emergency situation. You just never know what might happen...

The extra candy I have always used by adding to gift tags at Christmas or taking in a pretty bowl to Thanksgiving Gatherings.

We were prepared here for Sandy. Growing up on the east coast we are always prepared for any storm. Several times a year we will check supply stock for such occasions and then recheck when there is a word of incoming storm. Granted now we are further inland still the damage can occur so always prepared.. Thankfully Sandy was kinder to us than Irene was.

Interesting post. These days I read the newspapers online. I live in a rural area where newspapers are not readily available. I hope you are doing well. It is good to be back online after Hurricane Sandy.

I live in Florida so we're always prepared for a hurricane. This time it didn't affect us, but I have a lot of family in New York and New Jersey. Thankfully they are all ok.

I was not prepared for Hurricane Sandy. Luckily here in Indiana, we only got really strong winds. Thank goodness we didn't lose power either. My heart goes out to all those that did.
