SIX WORD SATURDAY

SIX WORD SATURDAY

Thanks to CallMeCate for hosting Six Word Saturday. This weeks words are:

November already! Time flies! Having Fun!

I can hardly believe that November is here already. Where has the time gone? I have been retired for a full 10 months and can’t believe everything I have gotten done. There are only 51 days until Christmas.

I am looking forward to Christmas this year. We hope to have the whole family together. That has not happened since my oldest grandson L was a baby. That was also the year my son got married. My youngest grandson E has never had a Christmas with Grammy and Grampy. Let’s hope the weather will work in our favour so their trip North is safe.

Speaking of safe I want to say to my American bloggers that I am relieved you survived Hurricane Sandy. Also that your election is coming to a close. Even Canadians are affected by the outcome as well as we are tired of the interruptions to our TV programming.

Let’s get ready to party!

Lately, I've started looking forward eagerly to the day I can say someting like, "I've been retired for _____ months, and..."
I sooooo totally agree with Ron... now that I'm working 60+ hours a week and have to start traveling again retirement sounds delicious!

Yes, Thanksgiving is on its way...and Christmas will be here before we know it. I hope you will have a wonderful family time together!

I am so glad this election is almost over...and I am praying for a good outcome.

Happy Saturday!

Linda
Christmas? Oh no! Time to start list-making (or thinking about it).

Hi Judy !! We are in the Christmas mood here (visiting in London) as they don't celebrate Thanksgiving. After Guy Fawkes day, Nov 5, the next is Christmas.
..
I totally agree!
Yes 2012 nearly gone... the years go faster and faster when one is retired and enjoying life!

Glad you are enjoying the retired life :)
51 days - is that it? Don't even want to think about ti yet. I plan on retiring way before retirement age. My parents never seem to stop since they retired, but it's doing all the things they want to do not have to do. Christmas sounds like it will be fun for you.
