We always say they look "gnarly!" And yes, there is an odd kind of beauty in the naked trees! (:>)
I do like how the naked trees look when the ice covers them in the winter...it looks like they are wearing sparkly jewelry!

I love the gnarly ones - they seem to tell so many stories. I enjoy photographing trees and even have names for the ones in my area!
