MEET ME ON MONDAY

Welcome to Monday Quiz About Me - hosted by Acting Balanced and Touristic - this post is up early because we're out celebrating Wayne's birthday today!

Here are FOUR QUESTIONS that everyone can answer and then you have the option to add a fifth question of your own for those who are visiting your blog to answer in the comment section, along with commenting on the four standard questions you answered! Grab the badge for your post if you like:

Here are the Questions:

1. What is the most expensive car repair you ever paid for?

The most expensive car repair was an engine rebuild on our minivan. I would have been better off using the money for a down payment on a new car.

2. Who is the big bad wolf in your world?

Now that I am retired there is no big bad wolf.

3. At what age is the best to have a first child?

The first child can come any time. The second one takes nine months.

4. When was the last time you said something nice to someone?

Today! I was complimenting my son and his family for a lovely dinner. The girls were beautiful and entertaining.

My 5th question this week is ..

When was the last time you went to the theatre and what did you see?

I can't honestly remember the last time I was at a movie.

Oh my. I avoid movie theaters like the plague. I have to be able to climb the couch for scary movies and need my blanket. lol I don't recall the year but it was with my dear friend to see the third Lord of the Rings movie. That was about ten years ago maybe.

I used to go every Friday to see the new movie coming out because I was always over on vacation leave at the hospital. Now that I'm not there and with a very definitive lack of funds it has been very infrequent. The last movie I saw in the theatre was Expendables 2, I think.
I haven't been to a movie theater in almost three years. It's been much longer than that since I've seen a play.
It's been a while (too long.) We saw my niece in Katastophe Kate (She was Snakebite Sally) in May 2008. Professional actors, we saw "The Merchant of Venice" at the Michigan Shakespeare Festival in July 2005.

We saw my BIL with the Oratorio Society of New York in The Messiah in 2011, but I don't know that counts as "the theater" since it was music but not acting.
