Spring is definitely in the air as we took our first theatre road trip yesterday. We saw “Mary Poppins” at a brand new theatre in Cambridge, Ontario.

I didn’t realize that Mary Poppins was a rather dark play with a very strong moral. The singing and dancing were wonderful however there were moments when sadness crept in.

We just love giving so many young people a chance to show off their wonderful skills. We had a great time.

I've read the P.L. Travers' book, and Mary Poppins was a little dark, very different than the Disney movie.

Never saw Mary Poppins and I don't know that I even knew it was a book. You have piqued my interest so now I might have to check it out!

You make me want to revisit the play. It was the first play I was ever in and I don't remember any of it.
