THRIVING THURSDAY

Time to ponder.... with Brenda at BYG Adventures

Today's word is HOP

A great word for the day before Easter weekend. You can hop like a bunny, a kangaroo or even a frog. When I want my children or grandchildren to do something I always say “Hop to it.”

Does anyone remember Hop-along Cassidy or hopscotch or dancing to the Bunny Hop? We used to have ‘sock hops’ as after school dances.

I remember “hippity hoppity here comes peter Cottontail.

I am going to hop along today because tomorrow is a holiday and everything is closed. Hop on over to Brenda’s blog to see who else is hopping today.

HAPPY EASTER, EVERYONE!

How awesome to see you here, Judy! Ahh yes, Peter Cottontail... "hippity hoppity Easter's on it's way"... I am old enough to remember that song! As children we had a 78 rpm recording of it - a yellow one no less, which makes it stand out in my mind. My dad bought if for us and we must have played it hundreds of times! Thanks for the fun reminder of way back then. Have a wonderful Easter!
Your post sounds like a poem, which makes me feel like hopping.
I enjoyed reading this.
