SUNDAY IN THE CITY

 

I would like to thank the Unknown Mami for hosting Sundays In My City.

I am showing the weather map today as we plan our getaway to the sunny South. We have to drive through the mountains of Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Virginia so we are worried about snow and freezing rain.

Hopefully we will find a window of opportunity in the next few days. In the meantime the suitcases are packed and we can take off at a moments notice.

last winter we took a similar route, and ran into snow showers - in Richmond, Virginia! Caution and your winter driving skills will get you thru...Have a Fabulous and Sunny vacation....

The rock church in Helsinki: 'Temppeliaukion kirkko' in Finnish. How anybody can think foreign visitors could remember that?! :)

The mountains often present a challenge but compared to our ancestors I guess they are much easier. Enjoy the journey as you know it can be better than the destination.
