We are on the move again. We left Amsterdam yesterday afternoon in bright warm sunshine. We should have been there a day later because we would enjoyed the canal cruise better than the rainy day we had. Amsterdam is a world class city. It dates back to the early centuries and has always been a major trading port. It is full of museums and art galleries and of course Anne Frank’s house. We saw lots of houseboats as well as a windmill. We missed the Red Light district however we did walk in the Green Light district. I did not shop at all.
This morning I woke up in time to see the White Cliffs of Dover. We had a restful sleep because we gained back an hour. This trip is amazing and we are enjoying the adventure.
We had 200 people leave the ship in Amsterdam and 200 different people came on board. There are a lot more children returning to Boston. They used the hot tub for diving purposes.
