TUESDAY COFFEE CHAT

Happy Tuesday and welcome to the Chat!

"Have you ever won an Award?"

If not, feel free to pretend and write your acceptance speech.  Don't forget the little people!

I have been proud when I have awards. Many of my awards were in school however I did win a few at work. Now that I am retired my awards come from my Grandchildren. Being know as “The Best Knitter” as awarded by granddaughter E makes me so proud. She tells everyone that I am a frenzy knitter.

I will never win an award for cooking or cleaning my house. I hope I can an award for just being happy!

I am also proud when me children win awards and look forward to my grandchildren adding to them as well.

Just getting Hugs and Kisses is reward enough!

I think being bestowed the award of Best anything from a grandchild would be the sweetest.
This says it all, what is truly important. Perspective.
agree... my daughter found this great clip about how as you get older you realize you mom is your best friend (she sent it to me).... that was probably the nicest, sweetest thing ever!
What a sweet grandma you are! I think it goes to show that we do grow wiser and less selfish as we age. We see other people first more often than ourselves. How lucky your grandchildren are to have u!
My recent post The HEART Awards
I think awards that our children win are far better then anything we get ourselves:-)
