SUNDAYS IN THE CITY

D H and I spent some quality time on Friday evening.  We took a stroll through another part of Toronto and discovered a wonderful reflection of the history of Toronto. Here is what we found.

This is just a start of the murals.  They go on for blocks through the Village of Islington. I will show you more another time. Have a great Sunday in your City.

Every city needs murals. Especially good to cover walls with a bit of history, too.
I've never been to Toronto. I love history so I'm sure I'd love the town. Thanks for telling me a little bit about a new city through pictures.
The village of Islington? What a funny phrase to see as it is a very big London borough in the UK

Love that mural! The history and the quality of the painting is amazing.
Very cool murals. I especially like the one that looks like it is giving you a peek inside.
