FIVE QUESTION FRIDAY & FOUR FILL IN FUN

Welcome to Five Question Friday!! You've come to the right place if you want a fun, easy post or if you've suddenly discovered your muses are totally wonky with their days and can't be bothered for inspiration.

1. Who wakes up in the morning with the kids, you or hubby?

We don’t have any children at home now however I used to get up with the kids.

2. Do you watch the World Series even if your team isn't in it?

No. We don’t watch any sports on TV. We used to watch curling however the sports package was too expensive.

3. What is the best compliment you have received?

You don’t look old enough to get the senior’s discount.

4. Do/did you dress up to take your kids trick or treating?

Yes I still dress up. Mainly because it keeps me warm as I sit outside to give out the treats. I bought a cat costume while on vacation and got free mouse ears so when we go dancing at Saturday we will be a cat and a mouse.

5. Do you have a favourite bible verse? What is it and why?

I like Psalm 100. It is inspiring.

his week’s statements:

1. My skin is my favourite feature. I have very few wrinkles.

2. Thinking about cruising makes me happy.

3. It’s been a long time since I went to the library to get books. I have been given so many books to read that I don’t need to borrow any.

4. I just don’t understand people are afraid of retirement. We are having so much fun and we think everyone should retire.

Yes that is a great compliment about the Seniors Discount.

Love being retired, there is so much to do, not enough time.LOL

Have a great weekend!
Nice compliment about the senior discount, probably because you don't have many wrinkles. I am 44 and have noticed a few wrinkles around my eyes. Nothing bad, but enough to make me cringe.
My recent post Friday Fragments
I doubt that I'll be able to retire -you are lucky.

No wrinkles!!? How lucky......share the secret maybe? LOL

I am not afraid of retirement at all.....I'm just over 40 and already counting the years! haha I hope that hubby and I can do enjoy it like you do --- would definitely love to cruise!
I never get to see curling on the TV. Only during the last olympics did I see some of it and was hooked when I saw it. It reminds me of bowling and I love bowling.
It's been forever since I've borrowed a book from the library too. I miss doing that.

My husband retires from the military in five years and the thought scares the bejeezus out of me. Of course, that's a different sort of retirement. ;)
We always read Psalm 100 at the Thanksgiving table.

I'm not afraid of retirement. I'm looking forward to it!

Have a great weekend.
With me it's not so much a fear of retirement, it's a need to get back to work to put some more into my investments for retirement. Maybe when I'm asked for ID for the senior discount it will make me happier than being asked to prove I'm over 21 at 46 does.
I'm sure not afraid of retiring. I want to do it right now, but I still have a few years to go.

Have a great weekend!
We got a visit in Tuesday for the library returned 2 books and the kiddo got 2 new ones she is able to do it all by herself now I like that learning experience. I enjoy my office to much to want to retire but if others started to stop working there then I might think about it I am not worried about it either way.
have a super weekend :)
since I got my kindle I haven't gone to the library
