WEDNESDAY HODGEPODGE

Here are this week's questions...Volume 100...yay us!

1. What creeps you out?

I dislike mice especially in my house.

2. What's your least favourite candy?

I love chocolate so I don’t like anything sour like gummies.

3. Are you a fan of scary movies?  What's the scariest movie you've ever seen?

NO! I am a romantic however I watch very few movies especially at a theatre because I fall asleep.

4. What part of life confuses you the most?

Keeping up with technology. My cell phone is used only to make phone calls even the contact list is confusing.

5. Pumpkin, sunflower, sesame, poppy...what's your favourite seed?

I love pumpkin and sunflower as well as flax seed.

6. Imagine your life ten years from today...what's changed?

I will probably be living in a condo instead of a house. D H and I will still be cruising and hopefully I will have been to at least one grandchild’s wedding.

7.  What do you a) love the most and b) like the least about the Hodgepodge?

I love the questions. They make me think. i also love the comments I receive.

8.  Insert your own random thought here.

Halloween may be soggy and even windy however it is about the children so enjoy it.

Wow! It's amazing how different our lives are! I'm hoping within a few short years to have my girl-child married. You'll be having grandchildren married! I look forward to being retired one day!!!
I can't imagine seeing a grandchild getting married, but I'm sure the years will fly. I don't yet have one grandchild, but I'm hoping my son and his wife (newlyweds) will get hoppin' in the next year or 2. :)
Hope your Halloween goes well!
I was the same way as you with the phones until recently. My daughter had an IPhone 4 and upgraded to the 5 so I took her 4. I played with it for a week before activating it. Now I love it, it truly is the easiest smart phone to use.
Halloween is going to be cold and windy here, but I enjoy handing out the candy and interacting with the kids.
How about paying for one grandchild's wedding? Sorry, but she won't be done school in ten years.

If I have any money left after all of my travels. You were still in school when you got married.
I'm intrigued with your answer for #5 and wonder how you eat flax seeds.

I actually put in salads and also bake with it as a substitute for eggs. 1 tablespoon of flax with 3 tablespoons of water = 1 egg.
I love flax seeds too! Have you had the flax seed chips from Whole Foods? They are yummy - taste like Fritos, only healthy for you!

I must be a kid at heart then...'cause even over 60, I still love Halloween!!! Flax seed? I didn't know you can buy them as a 'munchie'. Hmmmmm.

I am not a huge fan of scary movies either and I love chocolate too and prefer it over the sour stuff!
I can't wait to enjoy a grandchild :)
Not a fan of scary movies, am a chocolate fan, and I also only use my cell phone for making telephone calls!!!!!

I love chocolate (as I eat a piece right now, getting a great start to my day)! I can keep up relatively well with the new technology, but trying to explain it to my parents? Not possible, dad can't access his voice mail on his cell phone. So I'm sure they understand your feelings perfectly! :)

Oh, yes, technology is definitely confusing for me, too! I only use my cell phone for emergencies, and have no clue about it, other than how to make and answer calls!

Still cruising after 10 years? Wow.
I don't like mice either. I'm definitely a jump-on-the-chair-and-scream kind of girl!
I love Sour Patch Kids....more for me! I do hope the children can enjoy their day. Back in Illinois we always had ugly days for Halloween. Makes it a little more scary that way. It was fun raising our children here in CA, so many nice days over the years! Happy Halloween.....
Chocolate is one of my favorite things...love it about any way it comes!
I'm with you on technology! It gets more confusing each week...
I wonder what chocolate covered gummies would taste like ;) I'm a chocolate lover through and through!
My recent post Survey- How do you wash your face?
I agree with you on the cell phones...I don't need a phone that can locate the nearest rest room and wipe for me when I'm done. (And I don't want to have to figure out how to turn it off!)

It's gonna be COLD here tonight, but it was cold last year and it didn't keep the little ghouls and goblins away. Happy Halloween!
Oh, thanks for stopping by. We had a beautiful night for Halloween and enjoyed sitting out on the porch and handing out candy. Blessings!
When I first got a cell phone I was very confused. Having teenagers explaining it to me really helps. :-D
