1. What is your favourite thing to BBQ?
D H cooks the best souvlaki and my favourite is chicken although the pork is good.
2. What is your favourite thing to do on a holiday long weekend in the summer?
Holidays mean family and friends. This long weekend we spent 2 days with friends celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary and then came home to a family BBQ.
3. Who was the last person you ate out with? Where did you go? What was the occasion?
The last people we ate with were our friends D & M, M & N. We spent the weekend together enjoying 2 plays as well as sightseeing in cottage country.
4. Do you recycle?
Absolutely!! We even composed.

I originally wanted to take a cruise for our 40th--and include our entire family, but things didn't work out. In hindsight, I think that it worked out for the best. We've always done lots of family celebrations in the past on and around our anniversary.
Hubby and I ended up taking a weekend get-away (alone) to the beach, and it was our most memorable anniversary to date! It's not so much how--or even where you celebrate--but that you do celebrate and cherish each other, and your years together! We spent lots of alone time, sharing old memories, and creating new ones! Congrats on your 39th anniversary, and best wishes with planning your 40th celebration :)

Okay, but late-in-the-game us, we're planning Hawaii for ten; a nice private bungalow, a fresh pineapple fondue and lots of sightseeing. No holds barred tropical vacation would be an awesome 40!
