Good afternoon and greetings from Amsterdam. We have completed the first half of the cruise. Our day started early as we caught the approach into Amsterdam.
Everything looks bright at 4:30 am
This is the approach to the lock which will lower our ship into the harbour.
The lock slides open. This is the first lock that we have seen with this action. It is nothing like the Trent Canal or the Welland Canal
We are finally lower than the sea.
What a great trip! We are having so much fun.
